Q: Is a full-size van or minivan best for me?

A: Plenty of interior space and headroom are available in both vehicles. However, your overall height may be the deciding factor in which vehicle is right for you. We offer a complete demonstration of both to determine which vehicle is right for you. Contact us today to schedule an appointment.


Q: Which hand controls are right for me?

A: Before you make any purchases on driving controls, we highly recommend you see a certified driver training evaluator to determine your special needs. We then work with the results of the evaluation to provide you with the proper set of controls for you and your vehicle.


Q: Do you offer financing for a vehicle purchase?

A: Yes; we offer financing on all of our New and Pre-Owned vehicles with terms up to ten years.


Q: Do you work with agencies that provide funding for adaptive equipment?

A: Yes; we work with multiple funding agencies, including the following: Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Easter Seals, MS Society, Veterans Administration, Workers’ Compensation, and others. Q: What should I do if I have a problem with my equipment when R & J Mobility Service is closed?

A: R & J Mobility Service does offer 24-hour emergency service. If you are having an emergency, please dial our normal business phone number (503) 838-5520 or our toll-free number (800) 214-5520. You will then reach our after-hours voicemail that will prompt you to press 1 if you are having an emergency. You will then need to leave your contact information, and one of our certified technicians will call you back right away.


Q: I purchased my equipment from another dealer. Do you perform warranty service on equipment that was not purchased from R & J Mobility Service?

A: Yes; R & J Mobility Service does complete manufacturer’s warranty repairs on nearly all adaptive equipment. We sell and service products manufactured by BraunAbility, Bruno Independent Living Aids, EZ-Lock, Vantage Mobility International (VMI) and many more.
